Law in Contemporary Society

Personal Introduction

My name is Ze-Emanuel Hailu. My parents met while my mother was a Peace Corps volunteer in Ethiopia. I was born and grew up in the Washington, DC area. After college, I worked in International Development for a few years before deciding to become a lawyer.

I came to law school to better understand how our society and bureaucracy function, because I believe knowing how the system works is essential to ensuring it works for everybody.
