Law in Contemporary Society
Why I decided to pursue a career in the law can be summarized in a few words: “Co-ed Naked Band: Do it to the Rhythm.” For the meaning of these words, please refer to Pyle v. School Committee of South Hadley, 667 N.E.2d 869 (Mass. 1996). This case remains meaningful to me because it taught me that the law was applicable to every day life and that it could empower people. After college, I worked with the law at the street level as an investigator: http://www.nyc.gov/html/ccrb/. This experience gave me the incentive I needed to hurry up and start law school.
