Law in Contemporary Society
I never wanted to be a lawyer (especially not a corporate lawyer). I came to law school because I place great value in the analytical process it espouses, and wished to postpone the choice of what to do with my life for a few more years. Since August, the only discussions I have heard of what to do next, or what to aspire to, involve getting a job with the “best” firm possible. There must be an alternative to selling my law degree to a corporate firm in exchange for slavery. I am in this class to follow this theory.
