My ultimate goal in coming to law school was be able to help others in more concrete ways. I served for many years in local organizations dedicated to helping immigrants, the homeless, and senior citizens of the community, which made me realize that merely providing food and financial support was not enough for me. I wanted to bring changes in their lives by actively protecting their rights and taking the lead in aiding them in court. In law school, I hope to learn to combine legal knowledge with my love of helping to become an influential public interest lawyer.
