I came to Columbia, leaving my family and friends in Korea, to realize my childhood dream of living and working in many different countries. I somehow thought that with the J.D. degree, I will be able to travel around the world, engaging in exciting international transactions. I also considered working at an international organization, promoting the rights of migrant workers, which is an issue that I became interested in while I was working as a newspaper reporter in Korea. After the first semester, I became unsure about my plans post-graduation. All I know now is that I want to do something that is unique, challenging and keeps me motivated to become a better person professionally and personally.
