I came to law school because I wanted to realize some of my passions and interests in the language of the law- mainly issues concerning international development and racial justice. Still not sure yet whether law illuminates these subjects or is merely a bulwark one must simply resign his/herself to working around. Between college and law school I did an MPhil in international development then worked as a freelance writer for a year, so I've never had a standard 9-5 job. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, wine-tasting, reading fiction, and travel.
