Law in Contemporary Society

Personal Introduction

I spent my first two years out of college working in finance. I was comfortable there but realized I wasn’t passionate about what I was doing. I wanted the opportunity to make a meaningful and positive impact on people. I came to law school to pursue a career in children’s rights, specifically to represent children who are victims of abuse and neglect. This is a cause I’m personally passionate about, and I remind myself of that whenever I’m feeling uninspired by law school. I’m looking forward to this class and what I will learn about the law and about myself.
