When I was younger, I changed my career objectives monthly or so. In the tenth grade, the law finally won out. At that age, I had the idealistic impression that obtaining a law degree would grant me the power to defend the rights of the downtrodden. As I grew older, however, I looked at my decision more pragmatically. Of course I still wanted to help people, but I wanted the option of financial security as well. Ultimately, I want to see if money can help the cause as much as time and sweat.
