Law in Contemporary Society
I began working with children when I was still a child. I've spent practically my whole life trying to improve the opportunities available to economically disadvantaged youth be it through education or environmental justice. But then after college I entered the work force for a few years, had to pay bills, dealt with a ton bureaucracy, and faced a lot of distress from the day to day horrors the children I worked with experienced. I started to envision other ways to make a change. I'm now at a crossroad where I feel I must decide if I want to continue working to improve the lives of others or be selfish... for once.
