Before CLS, I attended Harvard University and after graduating, I took a year off to travel and to figure out whether I actually wanted to be a lawyer. I spent most of my time abroad in Western Europe and Africa, but I have been to the Middle East, South America, and Antarctica as well. | >

Last summer, I worked at a large law firm in Midtown. In the middle of the summer, one of the associates learned that I was a rising 1L at Columbia. She pulled me aside and said, "Don't take Professor Moglen's class". A general distrust of corporate lawyers and anyone who pronounces the noun finance as finn-ance led me to do the opposite. So far, I think that I made a good choice. | |
