I came to law school because I wanted to work with people in a meaningful way, and I wanted to love what I did. I did not want to sit at a desk and count the minutes until the workday ended. Rather, I want what I dedicated the rest of my life to doing to be challenging, exciting, and significant. As a history major, I took classes on the development of law in society, and was always interested from an intellectual perspective on how the law is used today to shape society and dictate the interactions between people. Law school opens many doors in life, and I am hoping to meet a new community of like-minded people, and to develop the skills necessary to use my words to enact change in society.
