My name is “Ryan” Yi Qian Song. As an Electrical Engineering student, my initial reason for coming to law school was to pursue a career in Intellectual Property law. But after one semester of classes, while my passion for technology remains strong, I have developed interests in all areas of law. I am particularly fascinated by how policy considerations are reflecting and shaping the fundamental, and yet dynamically changing values of our society. While I am still uncertain about what I want to do in the future, I am certain that improving my critical thinking and writing skills will be crucial for me to succeed, and that’s what I hope to accomplish from this class.
